The project circles around the following questions:
Is it possible to form a sense of the human trace—our brief flicker of existence—in relation to geological time by entering into a kind of dialogue with a work shaped from earth in a glacial landscape of northern Jutland, and through this encounter feel that the Earth calls for our care, and that we are inseparable from it?
Is it possible to experience that inner and outer nature are bound together in ways that cannot be undone, and that inner and outer sustainability are likewise impossible to divide?

By situating the land art piece within the Ice Age landscape at Kirsten Kjærs Museum, questions are raised about the relationship between humans and nature, as well as perspectives on nature, the past, the present, and the future.
At the opening of the land art piece at the solstice, on the longest day of the year, a participatory ritual about earth, transience, and rebirth developed by Katrine Faber and Hanne Skjold Knudsen was performed. There are no photos from the ritual itself, only from the entrance and the exit.
The land art piece is part of a multi-year initiative at Kirsten Kjærs Museum, titled Sustainable Processes – an artistic exploration of natural materials.
